Vincent Longo - Flower Set

I stumbled across this Vincent Longo eyeshadow set the other day and fell in love instantly! Seriously just look at those cute little flower shadows and all those colors.

The set of four is $38 and was inspired by Mediterranean wildflowers. This is a great gift or 4 excellent stocking stuffers!

The Stain Hall Of Fame #4

Vincent Longo's Gel Stain comes in 6 shades that range from reds to orange and even a sheer brown. Each tube is $22.50 and lasts forever!

Besides the range of shades Vincent Longo's stain joins the Hall of Fame for its actual staining power. Seriously, this stuff stains instantly and does not budge for hours and wears right through meals even those including oily foods.

I hardly ever have to touch up this stain but it also means you need to work fast and be precise as there isn't much play time to fix mistakes.

Sephora is my Vincent Longo source and it is worth it to check out the Pearlessence Stains as well. The formula is similar except they have some shimmer.

If you caught Vincent Longo on QVC hawking his wares recently then you saw him use this on cheeks beautifully, a feat I have not managed. But for lip staining this one is hard to beat!

Vincent Longo - Shimmer, Glimmer & Shine

On my Sephora trip this week I was greeted with their latest promotion for naked beauty....you know that no makeup, makeup look that I for one just do not get (more on that later). But I would not be distracted by these flesh toned lip color wearing promotional signs, I was there to seek out Vincent Longo's new products for the Shimmer, Glimmer, and Shine collection.

Here is the new Hydro Stick ($25) that comes in 4 gorgeous shades. At first I thought this was a twin of Nars Multiples but one swipe of my finger on this stick and I knew this was new territory.

Hydro Stick is cool to the touch and feels like next to nothing on. The formula is a wonder and is such a winner for the summer heat. No one wants to feel like they are piling on the makeup during the summer months and this stuff is cool and light. You can use in on the lips and cheeks and it gives a glimmery glow that is pretty and not glittery. The Rosewood Dawn (golden peach) and Aqualily (mauve rose) shades are beautiful.

The other product that caught my eye was the Liquid Shadow also in four shades for $24 each. With names like Liquid Desire and Cream Flesh how could you not give them a whirl!

Liquid Desire is a shimmering pink-peach and is amazing on. Supple Rose is a glowing warm pink that may be my favorite of the bunch.

I am here to tell you that these things do not budge! Seriously, I tested them on my hand to pick a shade to try on my eye and after they dried I had a heck of time getting them off of my hand!

After a day of wearing the Liquid Desire around and getting all manner of compliments the shadow came off with makeup remover but it did not crease and the color was still fresh...good stuff!

Top 10 Highlighters - #9 Vincent Longo Concealer/Illumina Pencial

This is #9 in my highlighter series and while they are not in any particular order, unconsciously I have saved my tried and true for the last two.

Vincent Longo's Concealer/Illumina Pencil is a double sided pencil with concealer on one end and a highlighting formula on the other.

I have recommended this pencil to many friends who are looking for a concealer that is easy and not the battle ready camouflage that some people associate with cover-up. Instead this pencil is silky smooth and super easy to blend. You just swipe it on where needed and pat.

This pencil won't hide any major black circles and can't be layered for disco shine. Instead it does a great job of balancing ease of use with reliable performance.

The highlighter is subtle and the concealer is sheer but effective. You can use a few swipes of both ends of the pencil to achieve a natural glow that lightly conceals while brightening.

It's a workhorse product that I reach for almost daily to give me the look of a few more hours of sleep without the work of a major concealer/highlighting routine.

This wonder pencil comes in six shades and the sharpener for $32.50. This little beauty soldier is worth the trip to Sephora to check out for yourself.
