Smashbox Beauty Blockbuster

Blockbuster is right and at $105 you better believe this black bag is sporting a lot of stuff! Here are the goods:

Lip Service Lip Palette
Photo Op Under Eye Brightener
Mini Soft Lights in Highlight
Photo Finish Primer
Mini Lip Gloss in Desire and Beauty
Sheer Lip Pencil in Miami Beach
Bionic Mascara in Black
Eyelights Palettes in Strobe and Beam (3 pan palette)

In other words this is a whole lot of stuff! The lip palette is a must have and the Eyelights palettes are wonderfully creamy shadows that make blending easy.

Smashbox has put together a serious set of goodies and you can find it at Sephora, of course!

Smashbox Shutterspeed Trio

This trio is among my desert island picks. The 3 shadows are perfect day to night shades and are pretty much flattering on anyone.

Shutterspeed consists of a shimmering vanilla taupe, soft charcoal, and matte bisque for $28. The trio is fool proof and can be worn so many different ways.

I use the two lighter shades for day and line with the charcoal and maybe a bit of charcoal in the crease if I'm feeling sassy. For night I use the charcoal to create a soft smoky eye that looks incredible but is so easy! The soft grey rather than black is the key.

The shadows are blendable and long wearing making them my best friend when I don't want to fool around with eye colors in the morning. You know those mornings....you just want to get out the door looking polished, fast!

You have 10 different trios to pick from and they are widely available but I of course go to Sephora.

Smashbox Desert Chic

I think I have gone a little gold crazy this season! Honestly, I just can't seem to get enough of all the beautiful gold eyeshadow and want to buy them all.

Smashbox's Desert Chic has joined the lineup of collections I really love for summer. The colors are all warm pinks, golds, and corals. You know this is good stuff because I normally can't stand coral!

Here is the line up:

  • Body Bronzing Powder is huge and comes with a brush
  • Eye & Cheek Color is pressed in a heatwave pattern with 3 shades of color.
  • 3 Lip Enhancing Gloss colors with my pick being Cactus Flower. It is a true coral pink and will look good on a wide range of skin tones.
  • Eyeshadow in 24K is a shimmery true yellow gold that made me shiver in a good way!
  • Eyequad with contrasting bronze and turquoise shades with a cream liner. So on trend.
Smashbox has recently reformulated their single eyeshadows and the result is a cashmere soft texture that is a truly an improvement. I had tried their shadows before and was not very impressed but not so anymore!
