Make up For ever - Limited Palette

Okay so I am sorry for that little moment I just had but really that song just begs to be sung for my love affair with Sephora. Seriously, I heart Sephora big time and wish I could camp there for a weekend and just play and shop to my hearts content.

This palette by MUFE is one reason that Sephora rocks my makeup world. This palette is very limited (100 of them to be precise) and is $390 and can only be had at, you guessed it, SEPHORA.com! It is filled with 30 shadows and blushes and is signed by Danny Sanz the creator of MUFE.

I would love to own this one but the price is a bit prohibitive for my MAC depleted makeup budget so if any of you get one please share all the details!

MakeUp Forever HD Microfinish Powder

I have heard lots of talk about this 100% silica powder but hadn't gotten around to giving it a test drive. Being an oily skinned gal I am not sure what caused the delay because oil absorbing silica is my friend!

MUFE already makes my favorite powder, Super Matte, and the new High Definition Microfinish Powder ($30) will be joining the ranks!

This powder is white in the jar but blends into skin and mattifies without looking chalky. MUFE made this powder for HD TV and it does indeed help to soften lines and make skin look better. But the part that got me marching to the cash register was the shine control. I applied a test powder patch to a fairly shiny nose and forehead and BLAM! the shine was gone and stayed that way for hours.

Now if only MUFE would make this in pressed form I would build a shrine in their honor and worship daily!

MakeUp Forever Aqua Eye

Howdy from Hades! I swear I totally get the wicked witch when she was shrieking, I'm melting!

MakeUp Forever Aqua Eyes Bronze Collection is my new best friend. Not only do you get 5 lovely colors to choose from for $35 bucks but the dang stuff stays in place when I am certain I can sweat no more.

The limited edition kit includes a metallic brown, copper, gold, silver and black! These babies really stay put even when I rubbed my eyes due to the aforementioned melting and darn it if they didn't move! Now that is makeup genius in my humble opinion.

MakeUp Forever Aqua Lip

A recent visit to the San Francisco Sephora was rewarded with a huge expansion of the MakeUp Forever line. This line now has twice the amount of space devoted to it and the selection of products is phenomenal. The eyeshadow selection alone has easily tripled!

My favorite liquid foundation and powder are both from this line and I know that there are a lot of products that you can only get at the MakeUp Forever store in NYC. Needless to say I did a little jig of happiness.

The new product that caught my eye right away was the Aqua Lip Waterproof Lip Liner. I adore the Aqua Eyes liner and am always thrilled with its staying power and the smooth application. This stuff glides on and doesn't skip like some pencils.

Aqua Lip is just the same and comes in 12 shades with 2C, a rosy nude being my pick. These pencils are $16 and available at Sephora. Aqua Lip really lives up to the long wearing claims and is definitely worth the 16 clams!
