Lorac Couture Shine Liquid Lipstick

Lorac's new Couture Shine Lipstick is dreamy. I tried on a few today and fell in love with the shade Glam a neutral rose shimmer. Glam is great for everyday or as a neutral lip with a more dramatic eye.

What I really liked though is the formula! This is a highly pigmented gloss-like lippie and smells like vanilla which is alright by me. The texture is smooth and creamy not sticky and is super moisturizing.

Couture shine has mother of pearl for shine, almond oil for smooth lips, and hyaluronic acid for hydrating which is dandy. The truth is it a dang fine gloss or liquid lipstick and warrants a look see from you!

Kat Von D New Products

Well for all those gals who hoped that Kat Von D's foray into the makeup world would continue and expand, your prayers have been answered!

Behold Kat Von D's contribution to glossiness! There are eleven colors to choose from and at $18 a tube perhaps you can choose a couple. Lighting Lip Gloss is sheer and sparkle infused with colors ranging from light pink to candy apple red along with the expected nude and the not so expected smoke shade.








Next up are 9 new eyeshadow duos with a satin shade on one side and a glitter spiked color on the other. Each duo is $20 and I love almost every duo. You have a choice of green, purple, blue and ivory too! Seriously the 9 duos are worth a look and while I had some trouble with the palettes from the original release (mainly that I loved certain shades but just don't use others) I am thrilled to be able to pick specific shades.



These are available at Sephora or online with the word being that a gondola (Sephora display unit) will be put in for this line in stores. Looks like KVD is here to stay!

Kiss Kiss by Guerlain

Oh doesn't the name say it all! It's true I love Guerlain makeup and have no problem paying for it. Some of my very favorite perfumes and lipsticks are Guerlian and I have so many of their eyeshadow quads it defies imagination, but more on that later. My new love in this line is the Kiss Kiss Stick Gloss that comes in 8 colors with a limited edition color that can be found in stores now.

It's hard for me to say what I like best about these shiny little wonders. There is no doubt that the packaging alone screams I am worth the very best and as I have mentioned before I am a sucker for great packaging. But rest assured that it takes more than a pretty gold case to make me plunk down $28 bucks.

The texture of this gloss is somewhere between a gloss, lipstick, and a stain. There is a color here for everyone and I love that come summer time, when the temperature starts climbing, these are not sticky or heavy and the color really lasts and has a beautiful sheen on the lips.
